With the successful completion of their 2nd arena tour, Girls Generation is now set to dominate stages around the world. Barely a month after they performed their Japan Arena Tour finale, our Girls are preparing to take on the world. The world tour dubbed ” 2013 Girls’ Generation World Tour – Girls and Peace”, will kick off at the Seoul Olympic Park’s Gymnastic’s Stadium on June 8th and 9th. The girls haven’t performed in a solo concert for 2 years in their home country, and this would be their very first world tour. The excitement is building up, but it is already quite high.
Tickets for the kick off concert in South Korea will be available starting May 9th, 8:00PM KST, through G-Market (Korean Website). SM Entertainment will also be posting tour packages for international fans on May 3rd.
Our girls were once interviewed by Complex back in 2011, where our girls were asked what was the next step for Girls’ Generation. Tiffany was quoted saying:

And her prophecy has come to pass, for here they are now, preparing for their first world tour. Our girls have been through a lot that we can’t help but feel happy and excited for them. They have proven that with passion, hard work, and humility anyone can truly reach their dreams. This should make us more proud to be SONEs.
